What is Evident?
Evident is a method of personal evangelism where the gospel is made visible in the life of the person sharing the gospel.
Three major components of Evident
Evident incorporates the evidence that God has been revealed to the person sharing the gospel (knowledge of God), God is revealed in the person sharing the gospel (knowledge of God manifested in personal character) and evidence that God is continuously revealed through the person sharing the gospel (communicating the knowledge of God).
Why is Evident Important?
Evident is important because it aims to provide the most effective discipline and assurance that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, the person sharing the gospel should not become unfit or be rejected as a counterfeit.
