Our Mission in the Jail
Bringing the love of Christ into the most challenging places and walking with people toward new life.
What We Offer
Our ministry seeks to meet real needs inside the jail with care and compassion. If you are a family member, partner, or community supporter and have a question or spiritual concern, we welcome the opportunity to connect and pray with you about how we may serve.
Please note: Heaven Race Ministries is not a communication channel and is unable to deliver or relay personal messages to individuals inside the jail. All ministry services are provided as spiritual support, and requests are handled with discretion without disclosing the identity of those who submit them.
-
We offer structured worship gatherings that include praise and worship, preaching, and prayer, creating a meaningful spiritual experience for those inside the jail. These gatherings provide a place of fellowship for individuals separated from their home churches, while also creating space for those who do not yet know Christ to hear the gospel and encounter the hope of new life in Him.
-
We conduct Bible studies that invite individuals to engage deeply with God’s Word, grow in understanding of the gospel, and strengthen their personal walk with Christ. Through open discussion, reflection, and prayer, participants are encouraged to ask honest questions, discover biblical truth, and apply Scripture to their daily lives. These studies nurture spiritual growth for believers while also creating a welcoming space for those who are exploring faith or encountering the message of Jesus for the first time.
-
Our chaplains provide personal, faith-centered support to address individual spiritual needs and life struggles. Through confidential conversation, prayer, and biblical guidance, we extend hope to those wrestling with guilt, shame, fear, loneliness, grief, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and the heavy emotional weight that often accompanies incarceration. These one-on-one moments create space for healing, encouragement, and renewed faith, helping individuals rediscover their worth, purpose, and the transforming grace of God.
-
We provide inmates with Bibles and other Christ-centered literature to encourage spiritual growth, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and support their ongoing journey of faith. These resources offer comfort, guidance, and hope, helping individuals stay rooted in biblical truth and reminded of God’s presence and promises, even in the most challenging seasons.
Celebrating 16 Years of Jail Ministry
For the past 16 years, we have witnessed God move in ways beyond what we could imagine — and through these encounters, we too have been transformed and grown spiritually. We believe His work of restoration in the lives of those impacted by incarceration is only just beginning.

What you can do to help
Give
Your generosity helps us bring the gospel, hope, and spiritual care into the lives of those impacted by incarceration. Every gift supports worship services, Bible studies, one-on-one spiritual counseling, and the resources needed to continue this life-changing work.
Pray
Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Join us in praying for the men and women we serve, for their families, for our volunteers and chaplains, and for the continued work of God’s healing and restoration behind the walls.
Volunteer
Become part of the mission. Whether through direct ministry inside the jail, community support, or behind-the-scenes service, your time and heart help create spaces where lives are touched and faith is renewed.
“Prison is not only about physical walls — it is also about the emotional, spiritual, and relational barriers that hold people captive. But Jesus is our freedom. That’s why we invite you to join us in fellowship, One Principle Recovery, or prayer as we walk alongside one another in seeking God and the purpose He has for our lives.”
