In everything we do - be it through our preaching or serving those in need, we seek to inspire people to desire and pursue personal godliness. For this is the key to social and spiritual transformation.

Our History

Founded in 2004, Heaven Race Ministries was born out of a mandate God placed on Alex and Lydia Ssebugwawo to pray and crying out to God for reason of the bondage His people were under. From prayer they started outreach programs with an express goal of bringing the good news of the kingdom of God and message of hope to people who were hurting and or had lost hope.

18 years and counting ………….

The ministry has grown from just ministering to random people in community parks ( Wapito and Manitoba parks - Tacoma, Seattle Central district) to preaching the gospel to over 800 individuals in any given year. Under HRM, Alex and Lydia officiate approximately 36 worship services, 780 hours one-on-one spiritual counseling for inmates, approximately 60 Weekly bible studies for inmate at king County Jail on an annual basis. HRM provided basic home necessities and hygiene products to over 200 low income families in 2008-2009.

In 2016, One principle Addiction recovery was relaunched at Sunset Community Church. In 2017, in partnership With Innocent Sentongo - Eliezer & Neariah Fashion Design and Sewing school was launched providing hands-on skills training to disadvantaged young women living in Uganda.

Every thing we do at Heaven Race Ministries is aimed at transforming people’s lives, giving then a new sense of hope in God, experiencing his love as they move toward personal growth and personal development.
